Bassett has worked closely with Venezuelan migrant children and families over the past few years. With the support of a $1m grant from the Lego Foundation, she led a project to document children’s own experiences of their migration journeys and their current conditions in Colombia – or for an ongoing journey to the US or elsewhere.
