Frank Thames is Professor of Political Science at Texas Tech University. Dr. Thames received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000 and joined the Texas Tech faculty in 2002. His current research focuses on legislative behavior in post-communist legislatures, the economic effects of electoral systems, and gender. His journal articles have appeared in Communist and Post-Communist Studies,Demokratizatsiya, Europe-Asia Studies, Social Science Quarterly, Politics & Gender, Comparative Politics, and Comparative Political Studies.  He co-authored  Contagious Representation:  An Examination of Women's Representation in Democratic Political Systems, with Margaret Williams.  He teaches undergraduate courses on Comparative Politics, Gender, and Russian Politics. He teaches graduate courses on Comparative Politics, Legislatures, and Gender.

Molly Guthrie serves as Vice President, Policy and Advocacy, where she advances Susan G. Komen’s key legislative and regulatory objectives at the federal, state, and local levels. In this capacity, she is also responsible for leading Komen’s Center for Public Policy and ensuring its work is aligned with meeting the most pressing needs of the breast cancer community. Komen’s legislative efforts focus on policy campaigns to increase funding for medical research and screening programs and ensuring access to affordable, high-quality breast health and cancer care services. In addition to working on policy campaigns, Molly’s team recruits grassroots volunteers across the country to give a personal voice to Komen’s policy and advocacy priorities. Molly joined Susan G. Komen in 2009. Prior to joining Komen, Molly attended the University of Kansas where she received her Bachelor of General Studies with an emphasis on political science and communication studies. She worked in the Offices of Governor Kathleen Sebelius, Congressman Dennis Moore, and the Kansas Health Policy Authority during college.

Jessica heads up the Washington D.C. office for , where our team of lawyers, analysts and policy experts leverage federal and state legislation, regulation, litigation, and multilateral engagement to secure public investments and ensure a level playing field for alternative proteins. Jessica has expertise in the U.S. regulatory landscape for alternative proteins (including cultivated/lab grown meat and plant based foods), and can also speak to how governments around the world are choosing to invest in alternative proteins. Prior to GFI, she advanced the public interest through policy and litigation at the Center for Science in the Public Interest and the D.C.-based law firm Meyer Glitzenstein & Crystal. Jessica holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and an M.S. in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University.
