News — Rochester, Minn. (Jan. 2, 2025) - The American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM), is excited to share that the Abstract Submission Application is now open for the upcoming AANEM Annual Meeting.

The deadline for abstract submissions is March 15 and all abstracts that are accepted will be notified June 1. Accepted abstract presenters are required to attend the 2025 AANEM Annual Meeting to present their poster. Those who submit a qualifying abstract will be considered for the following awards: President’s Research Initiative Award, Golseth Young Investigator Award, Residency & Fellowship Member Award, Technologist Best Abstract Award, Pediatric Research Award, Medical Student Research Award, and Surinderjit Singh Young Lectureship Award.

The 2025 AANEM Annual Meeting plenary topic, selected by AANEM President, Faye Tan, MD, will be Back to the Future: Advancements in Neuromuscular Medicine. The annual meeting will be held in San Francisco, California, Oct. 29-Nov. 1, 2025, and will cover the three major topics; Fascicular anatomy, space medicine, and new therapies and technologies. “These lectures derive from the plenary topic and will bring an exciting lineup for the neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic community to enjoy,” Dr. Tan adds.
