After completing training on the organization鈥檚 applications and business processes, students will join a Workday deployment partner or Broward College for two-months of practical fieldwork, providing them with an experience that closely resembles life as a global business consultant. Four Broward College students will intern with a Workday partner, and four other students will intern at Broward College, assisting with the College鈥檚 further implementation of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Workday Financial Management, and Workday Student.
鈥淪o far, the Workday@College training has been very educational,鈥 said Fernando Soler, Broward College student. 鈥淭he instructor is doing an incredible job 鈥 both in teaching about Workday as well as mentoring the group to prepare us for our first real-world career opportunity.鈥
鈥淲orkday@College brings together our community of employees, customers, and partners to equip students with the skills they need to enter and succeed in today鈥檚 job market,鈥 said Bill Wilson, director of academic relations, Workday. 鈥淏y training students on enterprise applications built for the future and not the past, we are able to give students a realistic path from education to occupation.鈥
