The collaboration brings together two of the world’s leading academic medical institutions, combining their expertise in patient care, leading-edge research and medical innovation.

The collaboration involves three key components:

  • Academic Exchange and Research: Develop mutual knowledge exchange through exploring faculty linkages, potential areas of collaborative research and joint educational initiatives to advance medical science and training.
  • Innovation and Commercialization: Jointly facilitate commercialization of new medical technologies and support the next generation of healthcare startups poised to foster change and improve the way care is delivered. 
  • Advancing Specialty Care in the U.K.: Enhance specialty healthcare delivery in the U.K. by harnessing the expertise of two of the most trusted names in medicine. The initiative aims to address the increasing demand for specialized, high-quality care in the U.K. by promoting innovative care models that prioritize accessibility, excellence and patient-focused solutions.

As part of the collaboration, Cedars-Sinai has opened a clinic at 79 Wimpole St. in the Royal Brompton & Harefield Specialist Care building, providing patients expertise and seamless connections to specialists from the U.K. and the U.S. The London-area clinic offers personalized primary care and concierge medicine in a calming environment with premium service.

The medical center also tied for No. 1 in California and Los Angeles in the U.S. News rankings.
