Â鶹´«Ã½ — The Northern California Cancer Center () is committed to continuing the online Bay Area Breast Cancer Resource Guide, a comprehensive listing of breast health and breast cancer resources, created by The Better Health Foundation. The Better Health Foundation recently closed its doors, and chose NCCC as the best way to keep the resource guide available to the community.

"The Northern California Cancer Center is very excited and honored that we have been entrusted with such a valuable resource for the community. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive community education and outreach programs, and incorporating the guide into our other activities is a natural extension of our commitment," notes NCCC Community Education Director Pamela Priest Naeve. "It is another wonderful tool we can offer to those affected by breast cancer."

The online Bay Area Breast Cancer Resource Guide includes listings for regional and national organizations, support groups, counseling, screening, diagnosis, treatment and financial assistance. The guide is designed to help individuals make informed decisions and take charge of their health. No other resource guide in the Bay Area provides this amount of comprehensive information or offers this service.

"It pleases me beyond words to know that The Better Health Foundation's online guide will continue to serve the community, with the Northern California Cancer Center at the helm," says Janine Nesset Tominaga, former executive director of The Better Health Foundation.
