Lori KletzerProfessor of economics
Lori Kletzer's expertise is in labor, education, health care, and the offshoring of U.S. jobs. Kletzer specializes in the impact of global trade and economic integration on the U.S. labor market. She is the author of Imports, Exports, and Jobs: What Does Trade Mean for Employment and Job Loss? and Job Loss from Imports: Measuring the Costs. She is the coauthor of a wage-insurance proposal that has been discussed during the presidential campaign. In 2004, the National Journal named Kletzer one of the "people whose ideas will help shape debate on 10 important issues of the day" regarding workforce quality.

Daniel WirlsProfessor of politics
Wirls specializes in American politics with a focus on Congress, the presidency, and military policy. He is the author of Buildup: The Politics of Defense in the Reagan Era and the co-author of The Invention of the United States Senate. Wirls is currently working on an analysis of U.S. military policy from the end of the Cold War to the war in Iraq, as well as a critique of the Senate. He is available to discuss national elections, national security issues, and military spending.
