鈥淭he presence of a person [Chetna Krishna, a communications officer at CERN] inside the ProtoDUNE module makes this image stronger because the scale of the space becomes visible, the perspective is enhanced, and the contrast between the human being and the technology is more apparent. Moreover, on that day Chetna unintentionally wore just the perfect shirt for that location! That is one of what I like to call the 鈥榞ifts鈥� a photographer can get and makes me love my job even more. While I would have not necessarily picked that pattern for the photo shoot, it does look good!鈥� Marina Cavazza, CERN.

鈥淭he ProtoDUNE cryostat features a great amount of technology. Here the challenge was finding the best angle from which to show all the different elements. I think the hole looks quite harmonious in the photo. The conditions for this photo shoot were not easy because of very low light conditions, the strong dominant of the warm temperature of the light, as well as the limited spaces for me to walk on the floor and stabilize my tripod; and where I was able to walk, the small and fragile 鈥榳affle鈥� shape of the cryostat pavement still made it tricky for me to move.鈥� Marina Cavazza, CERN
