In this latest installment, Dr. Vander Kolk discusses his time in Australia where he performed his fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital; his Dutch ancestry and visit to the Netherlands, and his work with CAMP FACE, a week-long summer camp for children and teens with cleft lip and other craniofacial anomalies.
Dr. Collins mentioned his early years growing up in Bernardsville, New Jersey as the oldest of five children; how a family friend who was a general surgeon sparked his interest in becoming a doctor; and his time working at Beaumont Hospital, a large teaching medical facility in Dublin, Ireland.
Dr. Craig Vander Kolk is among a limited group of surgeons providing highly specialized surgical services.
