Dr. Collins mentioned his early years growing up in Bernardsville, New Jersey as the oldest of five children; how a family friend who was a general surgeon sparked his interest in becoming a doctor; and his time working at Beaumont Hospital, a large teaching medical facility in Dublin, Ireland.
