The U.S. fertility rate has steadily been declining over the last decade by new data from the CDC shows a slight increase in 2024.
The shows there were about 27,000 more births in the U.S. in 2024 than in 2023. The highest fertility rate was among women in their early 30’s while teen births saw a decline.
The CDC data also showed higher birth rates among Asian and Hispanic women.
This report comes after the reported that the White House had been hearing an array of ideas about how to get more Americans to have more children and get married.
