ALBANY, N.Y. (Jan. 16, 2025) — President-elect Donald Trump will move back into the White House on Monday, officially becoming the second United States president to serve non-consecutive terms, after Grover Cleveland.
Inauguration Day will include a formal swearing-in ceremony as well as musical performances and a celebratory parade. Vice President-elect JD Vance will also take the oath of office, joining Trump on stage to begin their new administration.
Trump is expected to expand upon policies implemented during his first term in office, while also targeting Biden administration policies on economics, the environment, immigration, foreign affairs and more.
