Media Coverage Success: The Wildlife Conservation Society
Occasionally reporters let us know about their use of releases from Â鶹´«Ã½. Not long ago, one of our reporter subscribers shared a link to her article in which she used our release from the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).
The WCS posted a release about the Jerdon’s Babbler, a small bird found in Myanmar, thought to be extinct since the 1940s. A team of scientists re-discovered the bird after hearing its distinct call.
The next month that reporter picked up the story to include in her on distinguishing endangered from extinct species. She opened with a brief introduction to the Babbler’s story, and included similar cases of animals that were thought to be, or are soon to be, extinct.
