News Launches Â鶹´«Ã½ Alert Feeds by Topic
News has lead the innovation in the delivery of high-quality, credible news to journalists for 18 years. Now, by adding RSS feeds for each of the News Channels, we are providing even more ways for users to receive customized content.
The News Channels have provided a service to the media for years, categorizing and grouping articles by the major topics covered. Popular Channels on Cancer Research, the Environment, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, for example, have helped journalists quickly find the latest story on the topics they cover.
Now these News Channels are also available by RSS feed.
Reporters and public users reading Â鶹´«Ã½ can subscribe to follow their favorite Channel topic via RSS feed – allowing them to get instant updates on popular RSS applications such as Google Reader, or through their web browser’s bookmarks.
“We are looking forward to providing more and more customized content to our reporter-subscribers,” says Â鶹´«Ã½ President, Roger S. Johnson, PhD. “Features such as these RSS feeds help to meet the needs of busy journalists by providing the highest quality news, delivered with the best modern technology.”
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Channels are available at: http://www.newswise.com/channels/. The menu of the RSS feeds for the Channels is located here: http://www.newswise.com/channels/rss.
This development is largely in response to reporter requests for updates on topic-specific news. Â鶹´«Ã½ is continually looking for creative, high-tech solutions to serve the media and provide them with quick, easy access to excellent leads and news sources.
