The mission of the Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute庐 is to establish foundational evidence for health policy and radiology practice that promotes the effective and efficient use of health care resources and improves patient care.

The Institute provides objective assessment of the value of radiology and its role in the healthcare continuum and builds awareness of this research to maximize the influence on decision making. Neiman Institute publications, research and data are important to a variety of stakeholders who influence the future of health care delivery.

The Institute provides accurate data to lawmakers, regulators and payers to help them make informed policy decisions that actually improve care and make it more efficient 鈥� rather than rely on current subjective, arbitrary, and blind cost-cutting. The Institute provides radiologists with data helpful in interactions with payers, hospitals and ACOs for capitation contracts and/or bundled episodes of care or other novel payment systems.
