Michelle Litchman, PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP, is an expert in diabetes care and using social media and other online resources to monitor how people with diabetes manage their own health in the real world. 

Litchman is an Assistant Professor at the College of Nursing and School of Medicine. Her position includes research, teaching, and clinical work at the Utah Diabetes and Endocrinology Center. She is passionate about teaching and precepts health sciences students and teaches didactic courses at the College of Nursing. Dr. Litchman鈥檚 program of research emphasizes the social context of chronic disease management across the lifespan with a particular emphasis on diabetes and technology. Her research examines online environments to understand the influence of peer support on health outcomes and diabetes management in the 鈥渞eal-world鈥. Dr. Litchman also examines family dynamics to understand how diabetes management is supported or derailed, and how technology might be helpful.

Carole Basile is recognized for her work in math, science and environment education; teacher education and community engagement. 

As the dean of Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Basile's work focuses on redesigning the education workforce and changing practices in teacher and leadership preparation, working with education organizations nationally and internationally to design systems and enable organizational change.

Her extensive community work includes partnerships with urban school districts, nonprofit community and social services, and organizations focused on business, workforce and economic development. Basile has 15 years of business experience in the areas of sales, management, and corporate training and human capital development. She has also published numerous articles, books, chapters and technical papers.

Annie Chechitelli has spent the past two decades innovating with educators to expand access to education, meet the quickly changing needs of learners, and empower students to do their best, original work. As the Chief Product Officer at Turnitin, Annie oversees the Turnitin suite of applications which includes academic integrity, grading and feedback, and assessment capabilities.Prior to joining Turnitin, Annie spent over five years at Amazon where she led Kindle Content for School, Work, and Government and launched the AWS EdTech Growth Advisory team, advising education technology companies on how to grow their product and go-to-market strategies with AWS.Annie began her career in EdTech at Wimba where she launched a live collaboration platform for education which was ultimately acquired by Blackboard in 2010. At Blackboard she led platform management, focused on transitioning Blackboard Learn to the cloud.Annie holds a B.S. from Columbia University and an M.B.A. and M.S. from Claremont Graduate University. She lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and three children and is an avid tennis player.
