Prof Wesley Rosslyn-Smith is an Associate Professor at the University of Pretoria, where he specialises in corporate strategy, turnaround management, and business analytics. He also serves as a lecturer at the Gordon Institute for Business Science (GIBS), where he teaches modules about strategy and turnaround management. Prof Rosslyn-Smith, who holds a master’s degree in business rescue and a PhD in turnaround management from the University of Pretoria, is dedicated to advancing the area through research and practical applications. In addition to his academic activities, he founded TMA-SA NextGen and serves on a number of international committees, including the TMA NextGen International Committee and III NextGen.

The COVID-19 pandemic unwittingly became a huge, focused experiment in remote and flexible work. While the advantages of working away from a fixed office space were clearly prompted by the pandemic, the number of people working remotely continues to increase as the workplace changes.
