Donald Danforth Plant Science CenterDaniel Chitwood, Ph.D., assistant member, used the world鈥檚 largest single-celled organism, an aquatic alga called Caulerpa taxifolia, to study the nature of structure and form in plants. It was recently reported the results of their work in the online journal, PLOS Genetics.
