Want Patients to Use Mobile Health Apps? Make Sure Clinicians Sign Them Up During In-Person Visits
American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA)Mobile health applications can be powerful tools for tracking patients鈥 health and reducing hospital visits. However, patients are more likely to sign up for these apps if a clinician or research assistant enrolls them during an in-person visit. This is just one aspect of a broader research project evaluating mobile health apps in relation to spine injection outcomes. The investigators鈥 abstract received Best of Meeting and Resident/Fellow Travel awards from the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA Pain Medicine) and will be presented at the upcoming 23rd Annual Pain Medicine Meeting in Las Vegas, NV.
